Did you enjoy one of our concerts? Please tell us! Here’s what our audiences say about our performances:
Hawkshead: 4 July 2026
- A lady from Yorkshire laughed out loud about Mrs Dobbins, her hot water, tea bag and UHT milk – nailed it. [“Big Brave Bill”, Rusby, arr. Shipway]
- We met a couple afterwards who absolutely loved “Let My Love be Heard”. [Runestad]
- My friend sobbed all the way through “Grandmother Moon”. So emotional. [Daley]
- An audience member said she cried several times through the programme in ‘so many beautiful moments’ and she loved ‘the sea sounds’ one [“All Things are Quite Silent”, Trad., arr. Andrew]. The vicar thought we had a machine making those sounds and thought the choir was fantastic.
- A couple from Cote d’Azur loved it all and made notes about the programme all the way through.
Eccles: 20 June 2026
- I had the pleasure of attending The Manchester Chorale’s concert last night, and it was an outstanding musical experience from start to finish. The choir performed with exceptional precision, warmth, and musicality, demonstrating both technical excellence and genuine passion for the repertoire.
- The balance between the different voice parts was superb, creating a rich and expressive sound that filled the venue beautifully. The programme was thoughtfully chosen, offering variety and maintaining audience engagement throughout the evening. Particular highlights included the choir’s dynamic range and their ability to convey emotion, bringing each piece to life in a meaningful way.
- Overall, The Manchester Chorale delivered a memorable evening of choral music that was both inspiring and thoroughly enjoyable. The quality of the performance was exceptional, and I would highly recommend attending one of their future concerts. I look forward to hearing them perform again.
